DIY Snowflakes...

I'm always looking for a fun little craft to do with the girls during the holiday season, although our time seems more and more limited. I thought this was a great idea from The Pink Couch. Use coffee filters to make hand-cut snowflakes! This cuts out the step of finding (or making) circles to start your snowflakes. Brilliant!

How many times have I opened a can of tomato paste to use a single tablespoon, put the remainder in the fridge for later use...yet later never comes. The solution to the problem -- tomato paste in tubes from Trader Joe's! What a great idea! Why is this not available everywhere?
